I live in montreal canada and my lake just thawed about a week ago. Going out this weekend and wondering what the best cold water bass catching baits are for my lake.

-cold

-clear

-2-15 ft

-rock bottom

Thinking of trying out some x-raps and rattle traps. What do you think?

it is supposed to be hot & sunny this weekend, I am planning on fishing rocky ledges & humps, use jigs reeeaaalllly slow, or if there are any leechs in your lake you could try drop-shotting a berkley alive 5" leech, let it sit in a likly area & jiggle your rod tip( keep your eye on your line, the bite will be very sutble.

what lake are you fishing? I am golng to chamlain on Sat, they have a catch & release season(may 11-june ??)
