fishing5 Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 What is the best way to attach the lure to the main line? Thanks Bob Quote
Other. Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Polmer knot! Easy and fast knot to tie once you get the hang of it. It is also very strong. Most anglers would suggest this knot to you for most occasions. You might want to google some demostrations pics/videos on how to tie this knot. Quote

Branuss04 Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Once you get the hang of the polamar knot, it's a piece of cake. I've been using it for 3 years and can do it in the dark now. Quote
Popeye Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 I agree with the Palomar. I recently switched over to it from the Improved Clinch know that I used to call the Fisherman's Knot since I started tying it when I was a kid. Quote
johnkook73 Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Palomar for sure!! My line breaks have been so much less since I started to use that knot. Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Super User Posted February 28, 2008 I use a small black clip to attach cranks. It give them more free action and makes changing lures a lot easier and less time consuming. Been doing this for a lot of years. Have never noticed any detriments. Quote
guitarkid Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 This knot is a lot easier to tie than I thought. Thanks for the link. -searoach Quote
