cufishin Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 I've fished the Meremac mostly around George Winter park, some above the park and some below in the pools. Quote

Bass XL Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Grew up in Spanish Lake, now I'm living in Weldon Springs near K and 40.I'm a shore stalker too. What areas do you fish? I fish all up and down hwy k and hwy n during the summer. Quote
SharkHat Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 I've mostly been fishing Innsbrook and a private lake in Union lately. Something in the K&N area would be awesome for weekends when I'm on call and need to stay within pager range though. Quote
Bass XL Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I've always wanted to fish Innsbrook. What do I have to do to fish there? Quote
SharkHat Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I don't know if fishing is open to the public, they're kind of weird out there. I do know that you can rent a condo, which I'm sure would entitle you to fish anywhere on the property. I think they claim there are over 100 lakes, but some of the ones they count are little more than golf course water hazards that happen to be named "Bob". The fishable lakes are pretty awesome though, especially Alpine and Aspen. All of the lakes are electric/manpower only. I don't think you can even launch a boat that has a gas outboard mounted. Quote
Bass XL Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 That's what I was expecting to hear. Thanks for the heads up. I've always wanted to fish Alpine though. Found it on google earth and I've wanted to go ever since. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted December 1, 2010 Super User Posted December 1, 2010 I was just wondering if anyone was still fishing besides me?? Quote
Needemp Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Yep. I'm still fishing. I pretty much exclusively fish Baldwin. Went out 2 weeks ago and I am going this weekend. I will fish there all winter till the beggining of March. Big fish over there. I know its hard to believe, but my smallest LM is 17" over there. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 3, 2010 Super User Posted December 3, 2010 I hope to see a lot of you guys at Kentucky Lake this spring. The Roadtrip is a ton of fun and not a bad drive from St. Louis. Quote
CKFishin Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 St. Louis here South County to be exact Quote
Walking School Bus Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 srv1990, I'm real close to you. I'm on Goethe, a block from DuBourg High. Quote
srv1990 Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 srv1990, I'm real close to you. I'm on Goethe, a block from DuBourg High. I know right where you are WSB, good ole South St. Louis... and you're right, it's close to The Hill. With 3 kids (12, 10 & 4) it's tough for me to get out and fish as much as I would like. My 10 yr old son loves to fish, so the wife doesn't give me too hard of a time when I take him... Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 crystal city Dang a local area fellow. Quote
joe the red Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Has anyone been getting out to do any crappie fishing yet? Quote
redbasser Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 st. charles here as well! actually work at the bass pro Quote
cufishin Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Went out to Coffeen lake the last weekend of Feb, water was at 52 degrees everywhere in the lake, made for some slooooow fishing. We found out later while we were loading up the boat that the power plant is down for maintenance until sometime in May, so until then Coffeen is a regular lake without any artificial warming. Quote
STL BassMan Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Spanish lake here (when I'm not down at Mizzou!) Quote
stlkdl Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Ballwin here. I have no boat and fishing Busch Wildlife all the time is driving me crazy. I am not from the area and know nothing about fishing the area. Anyone got any small water places to go around here? I guess I need some guidance or someone to show me the ropes around here. Thanks Quote
Blues19 Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Ballwin Here too. I have never done well at Busch Wildlife or Simpson Park. A place I use to fish alot is queeny park. The lake had all kinds of big fish, but they just redid the whole lake, so cant fish there yet. They have some smaller ponds in the back taht are ok though. Also, Kirkwood Park is redoing their pond. The water is WAY down and right now you can see the stumps and logs that they are going to cover. Looks like some good bass habitat! Gonna take a picture sometime soon. Quote
