Doc-Drew Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Are we talking about the same pic? brian.jpg Looks like the same fish my wife caught out of there a few years ago. Her's was just under 5# but unfortunately I don't have a picture. My wife is only 4'11 so when she holds up a 5# fish, it looks enormous...Just like yours Quote

Super User Hi Salenity Posted August 20, 2014 Super User Posted August 20, 2014 Ya theirs only one good lake for me but the fish in it don't get very big Lacygne has some of the nicest fish but It can flat out beat you up more times than not. Quote
Jond6236 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 I might give it a try can't be any worse than hillsdale Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted August 20, 2014 Super User Posted August 20, 2014 It's nice because you don't have to deal with ski boats or water roaches. 1 Quote
Jond6236 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Well I just checked out the lake and I also happen to be an avid catfisherman and seeing the flats and blues makes me really want to go Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted August 20, 2014 Super User Posted August 20, 2014 The biggest flat I've got from Lacygne is 38# but it has bigger You may also want to try Miola in Paola I know of a couple 60+ That came on a rod/reel. :0 It's also has a few nice bass and some Saugeye but once again with 80*+ water temps everyplace could be tuff Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted August 20, 2014 Super User Posted August 20, 2014 Yes you need to pay for parking at Lacygne. As long as your fishing and not "pleasure boating" you don't need anything at Paola. Quote
Jond6236 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Even if I have a year pass to state parks? Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted August 20, 2014 Super User Posted August 20, 2014 Sorry for the bad pic Quote
