Is it also very tough at stockton or pomme? High school tourneys there this weekend. Gonna prefish Stockton friday. Quote

The most common theme seems to keep a moving bait in your hand and cover water to try and put your bait in front of as many fish as possible. Quote

I fished it this last weekend and struggled bad for largemouth. Couldn't keep the whites off my moving lures. I finally caught a few dragging football jigs, but nothing special. Quote

We didn’t do too hot, caught our keeper in the last 15 minutes, but we figured something out right then. We dragged a C and C custom baits wobblehead, with a green pumpkin creature bait with chartreuse dyed claws. Got more bites doing this than the entire day. 1 Quote
PotatoLake Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 Anyone know of someone or some company around the KC area that will do rod repair? One of my old Lew’s rods is missing a middle guide and I got a replacement guide, but I have zero clue how to attach it. Would rather have a pro take care of it. Thx! Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted December 2, 2021 Global Moderator Posted December 2, 2021 There's a guy in La Cygne that does them for $10 a guide and does excellent work but I can't think of his name ?♂️ 1 Quote

I smashed the butt section of my bladed jig rod in my truck door this spring and he fixed it to where I can't tell anything was ever wrong with it. He redid one of the guides that had been damaged at one point and it looked great also. 1 Quote

I bought a Kistler magnesium for $80 that has a missing tip top. There is another one that is missing the tip top and a middle guide, for $60. Quote

Much appreciated Quote
