Thanks for the info as always!  Its just hard to believe (I want to believe!)  show me the pics!

I almost think that the info comes from the campground hosts or something, who get that info from guys just BSing. Hell they could even be talking about Wipers and not even know it. Guess we'll never know! :stupid:

I will be throwing pictures everywhere if I ever hook into a 10lb bass.  People would be sick of seeing all the pictures :-)

Kind of like @RangerDanger going to Falcon and catching "more 5-6 lbers than you can imagine," but not taking any pictures of them because "taking pictures of 5-6 lbers on Falcon isn't cool."

Just my thoughts.

If you're going to quote someone you should probably get the quote right.  If you're going to twist it out of context, that's the equivalent of #fakenews. Why you would bring that here, just to stir up some ****?  Believe me or not I really don't care.

As Ned would say, "a small northeast Kansas impoundment." Out of the wind. BR undisclosed location.

Gardner today after work...not sure yet about tomorrow but I have a few ideas :)

Surely nobody will be seeing anybody at the Wolf this weekend :P but I invite all lurkers to drive out and see what happens. :dancing-baby:

FWIW, not that it comes as any surprise to anyone, but my buddy did confirm the two 10s that were caught at LaCygne didn't make it back into the lake. Pics were taken at the marina and those fish went home in bags, and one was caught on a limb line. Go figure.

Good job Kansas! :stupid:

Thinking about trying Carbondale City Lake myself. Haven't been there in years, but if memory serves there are several places protected from the south wind.

Gardner was a blank, water was 48.

Totally ridic on the double 10s from La Cygne being kept but I can believe it.  Have to wonder how many others went the same way at the discharge....

Jon and I ventured out to Linn Valley for the first time yesterday. It was slow like I expected, but we had probably around 2 dozen fish with my green one being the largest.

It was slow at Carbondale City Lake today. But a buddy and I probably caught 20 dinks. 10 of them came off one point over a 20 minute span. Most fish were on the Ned, but caught a couple on a Wart and one on a lipless crank. Caught a solid 17-18" walter first thing in the morning on a firetiger Wart.  Water temp ranged from 43 to 47.

Opening day at Wyco.  Trout were biting really good,  kept a limit and released 20 others.

LS was decent. Good numbers on a jerkbait. Wouldn't touch anything else, especially nothing on the bottom. Had a customer from the UK on board and he took to fishing a 110 like a champ for someone who's never fished a jerkbait, or fished for/caught a Bass. (Not a chance I was having him fish the Ned). Wind sucked there too but was able to dip out of it nicely.

@awohlwend and I did our best to make Brian look good on Saturday since he had a client on board.  We succeeded.  4 fish, biggest being 2 pounds on a wart.

As I get ready to upgrade some electronics I thought I'd let everyone know about the awesome rebate offer Garmin has going right now. $200 off GPSMAP and Echomap units through March 31st. That's a pretty killer deal.

With that being said, I have a Lowrance Elite 7 HDI w/ TM 'ducer for sale. :)

EDIT** only valid when purchased with a Panoptix transducer.

Got out this past weekend and hit a flurry of good ones on a point next to a channel swing. Caught 5 in a matter of 25 minutes that went for 22lbs. Had a 5 and a 7.5 three casts apart. Everything came on the megabass vision 110 in ito natural

Kinda funny you say that, because both days this past weekend they wouldn't eat anything but ITO Natural. My best one came on a different color, but as far as the numbers of fish, they wouldn't have anything else.
