Just like me when I say...I may not have caught any 10 lb'ers in a tourney, but I haven't lost any either! Lol

Burn cream anyone?

Hey I guys, I know that a few of you make it up to Mozingo Lake in Maryville, MO every now and then. I just finished my editing together my GoPro footage from last year so feel free to watch and any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Nice, wish I could get up there to fish more often. If I'm driving that far north I usually go to Paho instead though.

Ohhhh it's on now buddy! Lol

According to the MDC, it has the highest density of bass over 4 pounds in the state. I've been there twice. It's not a numbers lake and it's not easy to fish, which is probably why it produces so many quality fish, along with fact that it's 2 hours from any major cities.

Went to Wolf Creek on Fri & Sat, fished 5-6 hours each trip. Bite is a little slower than it's been the last few weeks. Still plenty of smallies willing to bite, with bigger fish coming on bigger baits. Bunch of boat trailers in parking lot last 2 days so surely someone else is out enjoying this weather! Water temps 63-64 Friday & up to 66 yesterday.

@Ondrejka and I left it all out there Saturday. I'm sure most of you already heard via B's facebookz. Good numbers and size, especially for Wolf. Glad we audibled and avoided the clusterf*** that surely was Melvern that day. Here's 2 of my 4 that kept, biggest just under 20". The gal with the pretty tattoos jettisoned 5 feet out of the water twice before joining us in the boat.

Piggybacking @conorsixtakc. Shameless photo dump. Weekend off guiding, really needed this. Fished a new spot and didn't disappoint. Barely had to move more than 75 yards in 6.5 hours. And didn't have to deal with not one white or drum the entire time. #allbrowneverything

I'm guessing it's going to be awhile before they can be found very consistently after all the rain.

Well @Ondrejka looks to have still caught a couple last night, so I guess they can still be caught. It's about the time of year when drifting nightcrawlers on flats is a good option. On unfamiliar water, pulling a bottom bouncer/spinner rig with a crawler is a good way to cover water and look for active fish. Seems like early and late are by far the best times to be there.
