Haha, I know, I said for a fee, not for free :P That was my intention, to use it for flipping/punching. It's rated for up to 1 1/4 oz. I'll give it a shot, I might just prefer a 7-6 H somewhere down the line.

I'll be doing it within the week, so just let me know. The new 7'1" MH/F mojo is pretty nice if you're looking for a MH.

Shoot me a text a few days prior. In the meantime I'll get to looking around.

I definitely wasn't being careless with the rod, may have been a defect.

Anyone needing to send a rod in to St Croix for replacement let me know. I'll be sending this one in and it would save money to split the shipping costs.

Croix will let you buy shipping from them for $15

I know, but it still costs $35 total with the $20 check you have to send with it. I've sent 3 or 4 of these Rages back to them in the past year and it's starting to add up. Just trying to keep the cost down and help someone else out that might need to send something back.

I have a 7' 6" MH Rage I got from Bond that I don't know if I'll see myself using much. If I sent that in would they replace it with another rod of my choice for a fee?

Perfect bullshad or flipping rod.

Got it rigged up and ready for flipping last night. I had it rigged for swimbaits, but it still seemed a bit light for my S-Wavers. I'll keep a spare reel handy for swimbaits.

I have a broken Mojo, what do they charge if you were being careless with the rod?

I thought you worked in INS... You are never supposed to admit carelessness. lol

Not sure. You could just send it in with mine along with a note telling how you broke it and they can decide if they'll warranty it or not. They require a note with your information and an explanation so they can call you if they have any issues. If they don't replace it under warranty I'm sure they'd call you about what your options are.

Tell them you broke it fighting a fish.  I'm sure they can tell if you slammed it in a car door or something.

This ^^^^ If you want to send it we can either meet somewhere, or you could just drop it by my house in Gardner.

FWIW, my second largest Melvern smallmouth to date (4.80), was on a Ned rig. My first one over 4 from out there is still my largest from Melvern at 5lb even that ate a tiny CDBS Zero in American Shad color.

Here are some of the larger fish in my boat caught on the Ned.  All are over 3lbs but I'm not disclosing the exact amounts due to the monthly Facebook contest on my page.

Can't catch a fish to save my life lately. It could be pretty ugly for us unless you're carrying us.

Cleveland Lake in Belton is starting to wake up.  Johnson Lake in Raymore has been slow.

Haha.  Carelessness is covered!  I am not insurance anymore.  That 5 year chapter of my life is over.

Don't worry about it.  I don't need the pole anyways, I feel like I looked into the warranty claim last year and was not excited about the money I would need to spend to replace it.  And I believe I shut a boat compartment door on it.

I'm going to have a noob in the boat with me this Saturday and would really like for him to catch some fish.  I was thinking about hitting up Prairie Lee Lake, as it typically has good numbers, has anyone been there recently?  Any other suggestions would also be appreciated.  Thanks.
