Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted November 18, 2015 Global Moderator Posted November 18, 2015 Wow, I just got a notification Glenn just posted in the Mod forum that it was fixed. Now my email is blowing up with notifications again, not sure how I feel about that. 1 Quote
Ondrejka Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I think Ryan (Cbass12) might have either a Carbonlite or Clarus or something like that. He ended up selling that one. But was just out of my price range. Quote

Super User Hi Salenity Posted November 18, 2015 Super User Posted November 18, 2015 The one by me has them right now for $79.95. There's even one lonely 6' 8" MXF Rage for 89.99. None of the rods have moved since I talked to the sales guy to see if they had more in the back, so maybe it's fate... That Rage is a good Jerkbait rod, find me Saturday and I'll let you try one. 1 Quote
pbrussell Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Not excited to freeze saturday. You better keep me warm curt. Quote

Super User Hi Salenity Posted November 18, 2015 Super User Posted November 18, 2015 See you Thursday. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted November 18, 2015 Global Moderator Posted November 18, 2015 See you Thursday. I was just joking, I'll probably be chasing bass and wipers at La Cygne Thursday. Melvern beat me down so bad last time I still haven't forgiven it enough to go back. Quote
pbrussell Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I'm gonna go sore lip a bunch of fish Thursday for you guys fishing Saturday I wasn't planning on catching fish anyway. Was mostly just hoping to poke fun at sizzle if he makes it, and make curt feel uncomfortable. Quote

Was mostly just hoping to poke fun at sizzle if he makes it, and make curt feel uncomfortable. I'll be at work. I'll have more fun there than I did last time I fished Melvern. Probably fish La Cygne Thursday, at least if I get beat down out there it won't be anything out of the ordinary. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted November 18, 2015 Global Moderator Posted November 18, 2015 Never know....turds. This cold weather will probably have the lake on fire if anything. Maybe not for the usual numbers, but I bet the big fish resurface. 2 Quote

Kind of my thought process also. Should be a good day for those that are fishing. The others who aren't working, are buttheads. Quote

ljd1971 Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I'm gonna go sore lip a bunch of fish Thursday for you guys fishing Saturday I may head down to there Thursday, but no need to worry about me sore lipping many fish. Except for drum, of course. Quote

I know dude. Guys backing out based on a weather forecast on Tuesday. Working is the only legit excuse I've heard so far. Quote

Think of it as eliminating water. I'll show you some of the tricks I've learned from the guys here on Saturday, and maybe a couple of my own. Oh, and I don't catch drum last one (and only) for me was in 1992. Quote

We all, for the most part, have females in our lives and we understand. You were at LOZ all last weekend, so understandable. DJ backed out (well, technically his girl backed out FOR him via a lovely text I received from her last night) because he was gone all last weekend pheasant hunting. So, again understandable. We all get it, I'm just giving a hard time. Quote

All too well . . . Quote
bkohlman Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 I am sure most of you have seen this article in the Wichita Eagle regarding the dredging of John Redmond. Thoughts? http://www.kansas.com/sports/outdoors/article45166872.html Quote

Thoughts? http://www.kansas.com/sports/outdoors/article45166872.html Interesting article. I always assumed that silt removed from reservoirs was nutrient rich and would be beneficial to agricultural interests to replace lost topsoil. Glad to see that my new favorite Melvern is not too silted. Quote
