I left the battery at home once when I had my 2 man. Now that sucks!

I always kept my spare boat key in my truck for just such an emergency.

That's the first thing I did when I got home.

It's that time of year for me to get rid of all the baits I've found this year that I'm not going to keep for myself. If any of you guys are looking for some hardbaits, I have a whole Plano 3700 box I'll be selling for cheap and I'll sell it for even cheaper if I don't have to ship!

I never take the key out of my boat. It is in garage when not behind truck or on the water.

I have more than $10 in hardware on them, plus all the time and effort retrieving them and cleaning them up.

What weights are they recommended for?

Went out to Melvern yesterday and caught a good amount of fish.  Caught 4 that were over 15".  At the end of the day I got into a good school of whites near the melvern lake marina.  I started with the ned, but switched over to a roster tail after talking with some guys that were fishing the dam and that was a lot easier than the ned considering the wind.  I'm terrible at throwing the spook, but took a lot of white bass and smallmouth with it at the end of the day on a wind blown flat.  All the whites were great size and a lot of fun.  I'm glad I went out.

The boat gods are shining down on me. Was able to pull the trigger on a near mint 50 horse Johnson to replace my toasted Evinrude.  Having them swapped out this week at the boat doc and should be back on the water in no time. However, the kicker is that I may be heading to Paris, TX for two weeks to train a new site for my job Nov. 9th-22nd. :cry3:
