Catt, maybe we could look at Palo Gaucho? I know that’s not as popular a spot, so if you think another area might be more beneficial to take a look at I’m all for it. Ready to learn

Thanks for the invite gents, y'all shoot me a pm when it gets close to y'all being up here and I will see what's happening.

Between starting physical theropy back up hopefully this week coming and peeping for Oct 1st bow season opener and doing load work up for my new experimental bullet I designed for my rifle my hands are full.

Will be filling the study session that looks like cart is about to get going, if it works in one area it will work in anouther.

Sounds great to me. We are moved in and now I will have some time to spend on the water. We ended up in Beechwood 1 which is on the Texas side near Mill Creek. This is the first trip where the honey do list is not as big as dump truck so hopefully will get to fish more. :)

Finally made it!  So far all I figured out was how to fix my camper awning. Dirty sob!  Might go to Palo Gaucho in the morning. Very interested in any lessons concerning the mouth of Gaucho. It seems to have all the ingredients to be a good area. I just haven't fished it enough... yet.

Well Joe, at least you accomplished something.  Mine probably does not work, hasn't been opened in 5 years.  On the bright side I caught one over 7 in the lake back of the house yesterday.

Yes Sir, the rest is all lagniappe now!  Congrats on that 7!  That's awesome. Everything is rigged and ready so we'll see tomorrow. It's either Rayburn or Gaucho, depending on the weather.

Hines Creek or the back of Polo Gaucho past the 3121 bridge or the ares around the mouth?

Posted

I think the area around the mouth would be a good place to start.

What about that super long submerged point on the north side of the mouth?

Yes Sir, that one.

The thunder and lightning ruined my plans this morning so I fished Six Mile this afternoon. It was rough. 3 bass and a bream lol. Tried almost everything you can out deep around Gilley's. Nothing. Idled over two or three more spots in 20' and saw nothing. Moved to about 12 feet deep and fished a grass line to catch the few I caught on that Neko rig I was trying out. Hopefully, the weather will let me fish tomorrow morning.
