Super User Catt Posted June 1, 2017 Author Super User Posted June 1, 2017 Hey y'all keep an eye out! Â I've had a few people claim to have maybe seen my Jeep in Texas, Lake Charles and Lafayette. Â I've given up all hope but for anyone who is keeping an eye out or thinks they may have seen it but unsure if it's the right one, check these pictures out. Â The entire front part and the grille of my Jeep wasn't on it when it was stolen from my driveway, the rear wheels don't have the center caps on them like the front wheels in the picture, it also doesnt have its spare tire mounted on the rear. Â So if anyone sees this Jeep anywhere, please call the police ASAP! Â If anyone sees any parts for sale online or any shops of any kind such as a Magnuson supercharger, 22" RBP SWAT wheels painted gray and black, 42" boggers or 40" Nitto Mud Grapplers or any Poison Spyder bumpers and aluminum fender flares painted gray, King shocks or any suspension parts powdercoated orange, Â please let me know. Â I have invoices, serial numbers, etc for everything on my Jeep so I can prove its mine. Â I really appreciate any info and help no matter how big or small!!! Krystal Lebeau Langey 3 Quote

A5BLASTER Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 Catt, call around or look online for any mud bog's that were being held in La or Texas the day it was stolen or since it was stolen, more then likely it was or is there at that mud bog. Â I saved the pic and sending it to my freinds that do the mud bog scene and let them know to be on the look out for this Jeep. 1 Quote
Keith McKnight Jr. Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Did pretty good today. Fished up by 1251. Best 5 was 11.37 lbs. We caught quite a good bit of smaller ones. We are from south Ms so we fished our strengths. Texas rig a green pumpkin senko and a weightless fluke. They started chasing shad after lunch and caught most of ours in 30 or 44 mins. Didn't place in he tournament but had a blast anyway. Â 1 Quote
tigerdh Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Can anyone recommend a cheap place to stay on the bend? Preferably on the south end. I'd like to spend more time on the lake, but its often hard to get a few guys together to help ease the cost of cabin rentals. I'm not wanting to spend $120 a night just for myself, that gets expensive quick. Anyway, any recommendations are appreciated.  Thanks guys. Quote

A5BLASTER Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 I think the cops need to dust the inside of prints and go pick up the loser(s) that had it and throw their low life self's under the jail. Â Glad you got it back Catt. 3 Quote
Bass_Fanatic Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Glad you found it Catt. Â We fished a company tournament yesterday. Had 50 boats and sadly, we came in 7th with 11.4lbs. Â 15lbs won. Â The daytime bite has been tough lately. Â We caught plenty of fish, but the big girls just won't bite in the day very much right now. We caught 20-25 fish in 20-24' on big worms and jigs. 3 Quote
A5BLASTER Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 I hope this rain is done and past for the full moon later this week, I'm ready to get out and spear some fat girls with the 12 inch ribbon tail black and red flake worm. 2 Quote
Redseal Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 I'm taking my wife on a night trip this weekend . It's showing the moonrise at 4:30pm should we hit them early ? Quote
A5BLASTER Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 I normally hit the water about a hour to hour and half before dark and fish all night.  But tend to see more bigger bass bitting after midnight till daylight.  This is just what I have seen and do where I live and fish might be diffrent on diffrent area's  of the lake.  Hope this helps sir. 1 Quote
Redseal Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 I'm located at shadows landing in Negreet. I've got a few areas there I wanna try 1 Quote
A5BLASTER Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 I'm on San Miguel. Â I only use two baits at night black and red flake ribbet frog and black and red flake ribben tail worms the bigger the better. 1 Quote
Super User Catt Posted June 5, 2017 Author Super User Posted June 5, 2017 Night fishing I'm usually on the water about 6:30-7:00! Â I throw the same lures on the same structure as I would during the day! Â One thing I do throw during summer more than most anglers, day or night is a big ole crawworm like a Gene Larew 6" Hawg Craw or RageTail's Lobster. 1 Quote
Redseal Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 I'm gonna target an area a couple of humps that comes up from 20plus feet to 12 to 14 Fow that's not real far from the bank. My thinking is it will allow me to work big worms on humps and drift towards the bank and fish frogs, spinner and buzz baits till I figure the bite out . One is in salter and the other is in the back half of  Negreet , anyone wanna tweek my thinking ? Quote
Bass_Fanatic Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Sounds like a solid plan. Â What I have noticed about night fishi though is if you catch a good one, slow and and fish that area very thoroughly. Â A Big worm is hard to beat. Â I've sat on one small grassbed in 15' of water for 4 hours and only got 5 bites, but they were all over 6lbs. Â Be patient. 2 Quote
Redseal Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Thanks. Night fishing is still fairly new to me. Been fishing for over 40 yrs but never really tried it much . Now that I've got my own place on the lake I guess it's time to put some work in and figure this thing out. Thanks again for the input Quote

Bryanhester Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Finally headed to the bend for the weekend. Haven't been to the camp in over a month. I'm having withdrawls. Not sure how much serious fishing I will get done because of the much needed getaway with the family. I'm gonna try and sneak away for a little while . 2 Quote

Hopefully this weather we are having down here in Houma won't follow me up there it has rained just about every day of my hitch. I will definitely try some night fishing as well as long as the wind isn't blowing too hard. 21 hours ago, Catt said: @lilcajun how y'all are?  Welcome aboard, hope to see a report soon!  Thanks, Catt, I will definitely post a report when I am there. 1 Quote
