RodBender83 Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Catt, you got any advice for Lanana? Mainly west of the bridge, I don't venture to the back too much. I've marked quite a few humps near the creek channel that i'm going to try. Main problem I have is that when scanning the ledge, there are almost too many fish lol I think they are white bass. Quote
RCCA Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 I just noticed something on the lake conditions report. The gates are open from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm. Current during the heat of the day? That makes me want to try heat stroke! I'm sure the fish respond positively to the current. Please tell me I'm wrong. Quote
Super User Catt Posted July 30, 2015 Author Super User Posted July 30, 2015 La Nana, points & creeks, there are lots of them! I would be some where out near the mouth & on the north side. Quote

RCCA Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Thanks. I have no clue how much current they produce. That was my crazy way of asking I'll just try to fish early in the morning, all night, 11:00 - 12:00 pm, and right before dark. 1 Quote
RCCA Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 So far Housen is still using my lips for a boxing speed bag but it ain't over yet!!!! Quote
Bass_Fanatic Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Atleast your there. I stayed close by the house and fished Saline/Larto and stunk it up! Quote
RCCA Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Oh, I'm staying positive. It's on tonight! Wish you were here. I used to love Saline/Larto. It will come back around... I hope! Quote
RCCA Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 How about a Blue Bird Day with a north wind in July!?!?! Lol I can plan some trips now! Quote
RCCA Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Got a boat slip and can't even put my boat in it without ripping my trolling motor off lol. Anybody has Garmin depth finders? Their boat is here contouring. It's rocking in the boat house. Quote
Bass_Fanatic Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 I figured it was rough up there today. I saw Humminbird out ere last summer graphing the lake for their lakemaster chip. Hopefully they will have Toledo in HD soon! Quote

Hopefully they will have Toledo in HD soon! BF Humminbird has released lake master card with HD from, I think, Lowes down to the dam and up to Pleasure point on the La side. It's just the coves and mouths of them. Nothing in the middle of main lake. MG Quote
june-bug Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Heading to the lake this weekend to do a little fishing. Its been two weeks so I'm chomping at the bit. Neighbor called yesterday and said that one of my trees fell on my lakeshore during some rough weather a couple days ago. Not sure what i'm going to encounter there but I'm hoping it isn't to bad. Just finally got the whole lakeshore cleaned up and looking the way I wanted it last trip. Quote
kking Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Drag it out in the lake and send me the way points so I wont hit it Quote
june-bug Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I think this ones gonna be way to big to drag kking lol . I'm always torn this time of year between night fishing or deep ridge fishing during the day. Cant decide what I want to do this weekend. These are the kind of problems I like to have, decisions , decisions, decisions. Quote
Super User Catt Posted August 6, 2015 Author Super User Posted August 6, 2015 The night time is the right time 1 Quote
Bass_Fanatic Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I may make it out there tonight but will for sure be there Friday night! Quote
RCCA Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Sadly, all I can tell you is Beavers against the hay grass was most productive for me. I caught a few on black and blue chatter bait near hay grass. Very few little ones on a drop shot deep. Zero on that 10xd deep. One on a fire tiger Norman crankbait. Zero on a jig. Zero on a T rig worm big or small trick or not. Zero on a black buzzbait. Zero on a gun fish top water. Still learning I guess. Good luck. 1 Quote
RCCA Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 In case effort is in question. I woke up at 2:30 am last Friday morning and the next time I went to sleep was 9:00 am Saturday mornin'. My trolling motor died at 12:30 am Sat morn, which didn't help. Then fished from 6:00 am Sunday till about noon and had to head back to the house. Quote
Super User Catt Posted August 7, 2015 Author Super User Posted August 7, 2015 90° heat index @ 4:30 am! Y'all stay hydrated Quote
