I’ve spent the last few days up here playing with my new solix and looking for fish. So, let me tell you where they ARE NOT LOCATED...... LOL I have more pictures, but they are bigger than 1.46 mb So anyone where are all of the fish?! 2 Quote

Yea my boat has been parked for a bit, got wrapped up in chasing hogs and now we are just over 2 months from hunting season, so probably not going to hit the water again till Jan or Feb. 1 Quote

LovestoFish Posted July 15, 2020 Posted July 15, 2020 And the spillway is on! That's part of the reason for the crickets 1 Quote

Bass_Fanatic Posted July 15, 2020 Posted July 15, 2020 The fishing on Toledo is getting tough. The fish are suspended chasing bait so it’s hard to stay on top of them. We are still catching a few good fish, but numbers are down. On Rayburn we are catching good numbers. 50-100 fish a day is still pretty normal for us over there. 1 Quote
JAWS Posted July 16, 2020 Posted July 16, 2020 It's been so dang hot you can only fish a couple hours before heat stroke sets in. Looking forward to the cool down into the 90's. Catt sucks about your boat... gotta keep your eye on everyone now a days 1 Quote

Hopefully it helps you find and catch more fish! As for a report, the bite was really good the last week. Numbers shot up to about 30-35 fish a day and some really nice fish mixed in. Big crankbaits and a big worm did most of the damage for us in 18’. 4 Quote
Walkerhuntfish Posted August 5, 2020 Posted August 5, 2020 Is TB still located on the La/Tx border? It just as soon float over to the Tx/NM border. At least then I could have a logical reason for not going to it. Hopefully I can make it over soon to see if I remember what I learned last year. Gonna take this opportunity to thank all you guys that put forth an effort to teach the rest of us how to fish structure instead of just bank beating. 2 Quote

Luv2fish! Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 I’ll hopefully be down next week finally! Bought a new house so moving and painting has been killing me, plus my boat looks really thirsty ? 2 Quote
Super User Catt Posted August 8, 2020 Author Super User Posted August 8, 2020 Everyone is aware how hard the lake is fishing right now. But we all hear of "those guys" that are on the fish. I recently had a discussion with a couple of those guys that are averaging 20-25 fish a night, with solid 15#+ sacks. At first I got the routine 18-28' structure near creek channels with obvious techniques. After a little prying I got details Creek channels are NOT located on the main lake. Locate hard spots Look for 5-8 fish schools, easier to find than larger schools & appears to be more willing to play. Would not divulge lures Knowing these two...throw a Jig-n-Craw ? 2 1 Quote
operationgrass Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 Got word I have a tournament on toledo wind February 28th. Catt didn’t you say there is a site with tournament results and write ups on winning patterns some where on the interweb? Quote
