My they rest in grease.

20 mints, never started the big motor, never made it more then 70 yards from my dock.

6 large mouths and one nice white bass.

KVD swimbait. In or around the gator grass.

Are all public Ramps and camping still open?   Particularly sandy creek?

Sabine parish is closed to all camping tent, rv, camper and cabin rental. The way it's worded if you don't own it you can't come here and stay in it as of right now.

For as I know the public ramps are open at this time.

I fished for 2 hours Monday afternoon and caught 14. No big ones, just all solid fish.  Yesterday I spent most of my day sinking piles, but fished for an hour and caught 29 in 13’ on a gravel road.  It was almost every cast once I found them.  Fished for 3 hours this morning before coming home and caught 32 bass and about 15 white perch on piles in 25’.  The lake is getting good!

The big pond has lots of grass. Some of us just don't tell the world where it is.

Good idea,,,,

Where you fishing?  ?

I spend a week in Housen' & 6-Mile, there's grass everywhere!

Is it matted hydrilla...no but there's plenty of grass.

Hi Catt...I was up to the northern end of the lake outside of Harvey Marina Boat Ramp. Practicing offshore fishing. New to fishing the pond so trying to learn areas as I go. I'd rather fish sparse areas of grass rather than matted grass.

My camp is in Negreet.  There are a lot of brush piles, points, and ledges in Negreet that I fish

Just got home from fishing Toledo Friday and today.  We caught 132 fish (bass, whites, and white perch), and 62 today.  All fish were caught in 12-20’.  The post spawn bite is picking up!

Idk how the fishing is but I know these briskets I’ve been cooking have been good.

Fished Friday, 4/17/20, and caught 3. Not impressive at all, other than to say 2 were caught on the bank and 1 about 100 yards offshore.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, 100 yards offshore? 10' - 12' of water? Who'd a thunk it, oh yeah, a lot of you guys. Tipping my hat to Bass_Fanatic and Catt to name just a few.

Side imaging showed bait balls after bait balls in the mouth of a cove. Fished the bank for awhile with no joy. On the way out saw the same bait balls. Side imaging showed lots of submerged standing timber and a few lay downs. Saw one lay down that was actually, I don't know, a clump, and decided to wet a hook. Spot locked about 60' away, half ounce sinker, a hook, a plastic worm and 10mins later had a fish in the boat. Too cool.

Thanks again everybody.

Had a trip this morning and we caught 40 fish in 13-20’.  Most on swimbaits.  Had had a couple good fish up to a little over 5lbs.  Went back at 4:00 and fished until 7:30 and caught 90.  The evening bite was on fire! I had one over 7lbs and probably 50 or so over 3lbs.  The last spot I pulled up on I caught 54 fish off of and only made 4 cast that I didn’t catch a fish on.
