Would some of you care to post a few pics of the lake while it's low for those of us that are not able to get there?

There's a lot of em on Facebook, do a search for Toledo Bend & click on pictures.

Ha ha I quit fakebook, myself! Seems like the “fishing” reports on there made me a worse fisherman ?

This water level & this time of the year is prime time structure fishing.

I would be looking at river/creek channels both on the main-lake & major creek channel coves.

Water that was 40' is now 30', this will actually pull more towards the actual creek channel.

Well it is about the math!

Anytime we get a 5' or greater water drop it's gonna move the bass.

Lots of choices with a kayak. Back of Six Mile, Jack’s in the back of Housen, Willow Oak in the back of Sandy, Indian Mounds, back of Indian Creek where 255 crosses it, back of Negreet Creek, and the 1215 area.  Just to name a few.  Probably all better during the fall and spring but still good. Good luck.

Awesome thanks for info.. I only three summer time techniques and they are frogging, punching and deep..I haven't had much luck deep fishing and due to all the stumps I tend to lose a lot of lures. That is why I'm looking for those grassy areas

@jasondaily Louisiana or Texas ?

@Catt I live in Louisiana but I'm willing to travel to where ever the fish are this upcoming weekend.

You’re welcome. I like grass, myself. I saw your other post about Toledo or Cross Lake. If you like grass and shallow like me then I’d go to Caddo or Rayburn. Not sure where you are coming from in Louisiana but if you fish SW Toledo then Rayburn is right there. If you were considering Cross Lake then you may want to bring your frog and punch to Caddo. Both of those work on Rayburn, as well. The deep one, I tried and I prefer to go where I don’t have to.

Google Jack's 944 Marina, perfect for kayaks.

Rayburn is awesome but you'll need a non-resident fishing license.

@jasondaily Indian Mounds would be another area of opportunity. There's a boat launch in White Oak as well as one on the Indian Mounds side.

Lowe's Creek Marina & 6-Mile boat launch are other areas but would require more peddling on your part.
