Any info on good places in negreet or bushes to fish also just had a buddy of mine said they should be in there also

by time I get there on the 9th. If so does it have grass or what kind of structure to fish

I wouldn't corner myself in too hopeing to fish only brush and shallow grass when you come up.

This time of year the weather is too unpredictable to say if they will be up in the brush and shallow grass on the 9th.

They could be are a big front might hit on the 7th and drive the water temp back down into the low 50's and they will move back out too deeper water.

Best to make plan's on what too fish the night before or day that you arrive. The weather is going too be back and forth right now.

Plus it is March you can expect very high winds.

Can someone help me with a technical question? With this thread being so long....its impossible to go thru it all at once. Is there a way to pick up where I left off? Or to select to go to a certain page? Instead of starting a the 1st page or last page and turning pages all the way through?

You can press where it says page 320 of 320 and type whatever page you want. Just gotta remember what page you were on last.

OK! We have went from La Nana to San Miguel to Negreet ?

@Skeeterzx2001 @A5BLASTER pretty well covered it!

The determining factor this time of year will be weather so plan on everything.

My dad is heading into hurricane as we speak.  I will let y'all know if it pays off.

He played around in the coves by our place yesterday and didn't get a bite before his batteries died.

Dad just called and said he didn't get a bite.  He may be the only person on the globe that is a worst fisherman than me.

What was he throwing?

Shallow or deep?

Details?

Beating the bank in hurricane in the back of Lanan.  He threw moving baits and plastics.  I thought for sure he could get bit back there.

My poor Uncle has been fishing Six Mile and Housen for two days. Last I heard, not one bite! ? He said he fished from 1 to 30 feet. Also, he talked to some people from Arkansas that fished three days without a bite so it must be tough right now.

Sad too say but the bite I was on has all but died and been buried. Fish for 5 hours this evening. Total of six bites landed 4, biggest was just short of 12 inches. All of them was swolle up with eggs and shad.

3 foot of water around buck brush, back of coves water temp showed 61.5 to 63 degress.

Bites came on 6 inch black with chartreuse tail zoom lizard, Trig'd no weight. All bites on the fall.

Yeah, my dad ran into two older gentlemen that said they were catching both bass and crappie back there pretty good last week.  They weren't doing anything today either.

Almost 80 this week and low 30’s next. This is why we can’t have nice things

Definitely a weird pre-spawn!

Usually by now we're hearing reports of 20-30 bass a day even if they're all buck bass. Bass are being caught just not consistent like normal.

Not quite sure what's going on but I'm ready to my shot at em!

Dang I was gonna try in back of lanan Saturday but maybe I should try another place

Yesterday just seemed like a tough day so I wouldn't give up just yet.  There is plenty of good offshore stuff in lanan too if that creek doesn't produce.

Who has the water temp readings from today?

To too back check what my fishfinder is telling me.

On the main water of San Miguel I'm getting 54.2 back of the coves I went too this morning I'm getting 61.4 to 62.3 degrees.

Think my finder isn't reading correctly.
