Ok so let me be the first to ask. Is this something they did when they built the lake or something they plan on doing now?

It was done over a period of time since the lake was built. Someone referenced it on Facebook & I forgot I had it.

I also have a survey map showing where trees & brush were bulldozed.

Y'all aint gonna see that one ?

As in didn't see any fish or didn't see anything?

Didn't see any cover.  I can see the post that marks the spot but nothing on the bottom.  I fish that road bed a lot and have only seen one boat catch a fish there and it was a little catfish.

Pretty much everything is catching ?

It's the finding that's difficult!

There's no one part of the lake that's consist expect the main lake.

Been travelling since early December, and an looking forward to getting back on the lake after the first of the year.  Has anyone been fishing the Tennessee Bay, Lowe's, Indian Mounds area?  Happy New Year to everyone.  Let's hope we see the return of grass all over the lake this year.

Thanks for the quick reply.  Wish I could be there, but I'll have to wait a week or two.

So I havent posted in awhile as I've been working on a project.  As of yesterday I've logged over 500 hours of graph time making my own map. Would seldom bring a rod except a crankbait and a rod with a 2 ounce tungsten wait just to feel the bottom if I found something extremely good.  I noticed something as I reviewed alot of screenshot/ time spent dragging/cranking but I seem to notice someone has taken the time to strategically dump gravel/ rocks in a particular creek.  So as I put this together and talked to my brother in law who use to work for ldwf as a biologist/diver he suggested we go and give these spots a dive.  So we went and low and behold each spot we made a dive was teaming with life. Bait fish and predator fish in abundance. But better yet we found that it was 5x5 or 10x10 patches of pee gravel in almost perfect squares or circles. To ever put them out thanks.

There's a line of those pallets that stretch from left to right if your boat is parallel the boat lane on the west side of the lane and your bow facing NTSP. Where it stretches to the left, it comes up on a ridge, and if you go toward the park from the pallets/structures it comes up on another ridge/hump. I've caught bass on the ridges, and also worked a slab spoon down the slope and around the structure and caught white perch. I haven't caught too many, but occasionally a few. Those pallets stretch almost to the boatlane. Very easy to find on SI.

One day I’ll be back on Toledo, but Rayburn is fishing so good right now it’s hard to not go there. We caught 94 bass Thursday and about 20 whites. It is one fire!

@operationgrass one of the most overlooked feature on a depth finder is the "gray" line.

Find hard bottoms & you'll find bass!

Not saying those spots are not man-made but there is more rock, gravel, & shell on Toledo than most would believe.

@RonnieF thanks I forgot to answer Amateur Hour

@Bass_Fanatic awesome ?

Yes I am! My plan is to go after the rain is gone this weekend  and I'm hoping it's not too off color in Housen Bay. Even if it is, it will be good just to get back on the lake! I'm also hoping the wind will allow some spoon fishing.

The Sabine is over it's banks to the North, so there is more to come.

That's what happens when everyone complains the SRA needs to keep the lake level at 172'!
