Anti-well.  I Had fever Thursday-Sat. morning.  The fever has broken but I still feel like road kill.

Went out on a high pressure day, knowing it would be tough.  Fished about 4 hours.  Checked several deep drops, including deep flats along the river.  Saw a lot of shad balls, but the bass seemed to be suspended away from structure at about 10 ft. deep.  A Table Rock guide would wax 'em, but not me.

Before I quit, I moved to the back of a small creek, and found them along a sunny bank, just a few feet off the creek, 5-8 feet deep.  They wouldn't chase anything I tried, so I went to the last resort--a spinning rod with 10 lb. mono, and an 1/8 oz. shakey head with Zoom finesse.  Saved the day!  Nothing big, but caught 9 in a short time, and missed a couple.  Left them biting for another day.

Side note talked to a local this morning at the station in zwolle, they had been out night fishing them white perch, him and 4 family members limited last night.

Said live shinners at 23 feet of water, said they caught probably 50 small buck bass as well.

Well finally got to wet a hook yesterday! Tried deep structure and could not get a bite. Went into Mill Creek and caught several short fish but did manage to catch an 18-1/2" and one just over 15" on texas rig junebug centipede in 10 to 15 fow. Fish where in the front 1/3 of the creek. Hope this helps someone.

Catt. Let me know if you got a source for those in 1/4 once.

Toledo town seems to only keep 1/2 once in stock.

1/4once is the bomb

Bill Lewis may not make em in 1/4 oz any more.

Gold, black back, orange belly is a classic color but everyone has moved on to the new fandangled colors!

Gold Tennessee Shad works good or I'll buy gold black back & paint the belly.

Don't forget Red Chrome ?

I think they still make a red craw or something like that in 1/4 that I use. I'll post a picture when I get home if I remember.  I started adding flo orange paint (the one made for tipping gun sights)on the bottom.  I always switch back and fourth between the 1/2 and 1/4.  I never noticed a big difference in size of fish caught but some days they will eat both, some days neither, but some days they prefer one or the other.

Ok so let me be the first to ask. Is this something they did when they built the lake or something they plan on doing now?
