Ya, sorry for asking such a specific question. I was looking for some starting places to study now. Not really where to fish in the spawn. Anyway, I'll be moving a camper to Six Mile soon so I'll be there more. I'll figure it out.

NEVER be sorry!

There is no specific answer to that question, every part of this lake has outstanding spawning areas.

One thing I look for is creek channel coves, now that does not mean coves with out creeks will not be productive. It does not have to be major creeks to hold spawning areas.

Catt:: Who do you know, guide or individual, who is an expert on the use and interpretation of electronics that we might hire to teach us how to use it?? We are basically shallow water fishermen and struggle with summer patterns and interpretation. Were talking T. Bend. My partner has a new boat and new electronics.

Thanks backwater (Dutch)

I'm no expert, but I don't mind teaching anyone what I do know. I can show you how to find fish on 2d, DI, and SI and how to use SI to find cover on structure. I'm avaliable most Fridays if your ever up there on a Friday.

Josh: What an unselfish jester to volunteer to share your expertise in electronics.

Would you be available on Friday September the 18th?? My partners new boat is a Z8 Nitro and has a Lorance HDS8 on it. If you can be available on that date I will co-ordinate with my partner and get right back to you. Thanks again for your generosity.

I should be avaliable that day. We have our biggest event at the church on the 26th so I'll be tying up some loose ends leading up to that but should be able to get away.

Where the grass!!

In the water! ;)

All moved in! It's on now! See y'all on The Big Bad Bend!

Check out Joe Joslin's last report. He mentions the lack of grass in 10 to 15. I knew I wasn't crazy.

Congratulations on the new place ;)

It has never been said there wasn't a "lack" of grass!

Posted

Thanks. It made me feel better for having such a hard time finding it at that depth is all I meant. I wonder what's going on with the grass. Carp? Hope not.

Thanks everyone it's been a few days since I've posted I've practically lived on Calcasieu river past few days. But I digress. We're expecting a huge turnout

Please Help Me!

I'm spending 4 days on T-Bend for this Labor Day weekend and I am really trying to get as much info as possible.

I don't have time to read all 300 pages of this thread, so can someone help me out?

Is there a reliable/preferred fishing report out there? If so, where is it, I want to be prepared.

Read Joe Joslins report. He updates every week. There are a lot of schoolers right now. Most fish are roaming chasing shad which can be feast or famine.
