Two smallies with the largest one at 15", 6 LM with the biggest 5# 8 oz., 7 whites, one walleye and one channel. Get out and fish. And POST A REPORT!!!! SE Kansas grass grower Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted December 2, 2010 Global Moderator Posted December 2, 2010 What were you getting your fish on? Seems like most of the time I go to Wolf Creek I end up going home disappointed. I'm always hoping to get into the smallies there but just never have caught them like I've heard of people catching them. I have had some amazing days catching some of the biggest crappie I've ever seen. Quote
ring fry Posted December 2, 2010 Author Posted December 2, 2010 The largest bass was on a swim senko in about 2' of water north of the boat ramp. All the rest were caught in the discharge or on the large flat out in front of the discharge on a squared billed crank bait or red eyed shad. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted January 2, 2011 Global Moderator Posted January 2, 2011 Anyone been to Wolf Creek lately? My buddy wants to go Monday if the wind isn't blowing but I haven't been since last winter. Even if you haven't gone but you know someone who has let me know how they did! Thanks! Quote
KS_Bassin Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I know a few people that have done well with square billed baits and cranks such as wiggle warts. Also i've heard jigs have produced as well during the winter. Haven't heard anything lately however. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted January 7, 2011 Global Moderator Posted January 7, 2011 I went there last monday with a friend of mine and we did pretty well, mostly on rattle baits and spinnerbaits. I posted pictures and the story under the fishing trip and tournament forum. Quote
