For 1 day of fishing, would u chose LOZ, Coffeen, or Rt J near Hannibal?

Any other choices are appreciated.

We are planning on going in about 1 week so it will be mid October.

Thanks

Larry

LOZ isnt a bad place to go in the fall. I would be going there or Rte J. Save Coffeen for when it gets reaaaal cold when everywhere else is frozen.

Are you interested in paying to fish.  If you are go to Trophy Country between Macon and Moberly.  You will not be disappointed.

LOZ is my favorite. I woundnt count out Mark Twain this time of year either. I have better big fish days there in the fall than I do in spring. What style of fishing are you?

Washington County lake, south of Nashville in Illinois.  LOZ is not within 2 hours of St louis.

Washco is probably the lake closest to the city where you've got an excellent opportunity to stick a big fish.  It's a power bait lake as well,  no messing with finesse techniques.

The only one that I can think of right off hand is Lake Baldwin over in Illinois.
