Hi all, I might be going to the Ozarks in mid-June and would like to take advantage of the bass fishing while there, but I dunno anything about the lakes there. I will be in NW Arkansas, but don't mind a couple hours' drive/don't mind fishing in Missouri. I would like to hire a guide for a day, but I want to get the best possible fishing experience and don't know which lake I should be getting a guide for. Please help!

I have a good guide for LOZ. He is very detailed and knowledgable and a very nice, unselfish person. PM me if you decide to go there. LOZ will be main lake and current oriented in mid-June.

If you want to fish fro bass Table Rock, here's 3 very reputable guide services you can look up in Google.  These guys also guide on Taneycomo if you want to trout fish.

Whiteriveroutfitters

Branson Fishing Guide service

Table Rock Guide service

You might want to consider Bull Shoals also.

I live near Beaver Lake in NW Arkansas whcih is fishing pretty well right now, topwaters in the early AM and evening, C-rigging is also starting to turn on, Beaver isn't considered to be as good as Table Rock or Bull Shoals, but it is putting out fish.

Bull Shoals is really hot right now..There hitting hardest in the morning on top-water baits and going deeper after about 9 and hitting Texas rigs with worms and lizards.

If your coming in mid June I'd be glad to show you around and there are ALOT of guides here that are very experienced.

Lake Norfork is another very good lake around here but it's harder to fish because of the sheer drop offs and if you don't know where to go, you probably want catch anything.

Stripers are runnning the shad as well as the bass and the big bass are hitting between 4 and 8am.

Wish ya luck.

Jeff
