Super User firefightn15 Posted January 29, 2010 Super User Posted January 29, 2010 Guys, I'm not sure yet how the roadtrip is going to play out so this Wisconsin thing might be my only getaway this summer. I'm looking forwards to it. Koop, I don't know how big you want this thing to get, but it would be great if we could strong arm Kelley somehow. Maybe get him as far as The Windy and have him hitch a ride? Ken, if you get a minute, give me a shout at 800-366-9122 ext 110 Quote
Koop Posted January 29, 2010 Author Posted January 29, 2010 Well I can house 5 on beds, couches and futons. Anymore than that will have to bring their own air mattress. Quote
Uncle Leo Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Kelley is always welcome to ride up with me. Kelley where are you? Quote
Uncle Leo Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 I sent the goat out looking for Kelley. Ken can not be trusted around the goat anyway. Quote
Triton21 Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 I love to do some Sub-Arctic fishing. Also would meet up with you Leo so the ride would not be so lonesome. I will get Brian to take me perch fishing while the ball games are on. You guys are the Eskimo want-to-be. Anywhere you choose to fish is O'K with me. By the way, we have a Winter Storm Warning. Predicting 2" here. Kelley Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted January 29, 2010 Super User Posted January 29, 2010 There you are, was hoping you would chime in! Are you up to a mini -roadtrip in June? Quote
Triton21 Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 If you will take me perch fishing. Kelley Quote
Uncle Leo Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Kelley if you get up to the Southside you can ride with me the rest of the way and fish out the back of my boat. No worries mine is no where near as fast as yours. Forget the perch, we may hook into a Pike or Musky. Quote

Copen1822 Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 I would definitely be in if I'm around. Graduating this spring, so June is a uncertain time right now! I think the river or Buffalo would both be great but hell anywhere is fine! I'll supply PBR and Limburger! ;D Quote

I am 99.999% sure but when you get to be an old fart you pretty much do it day to day. Dang Leo, I thought you were fishing out of the Miss Budwiser. Kelle y Quote

That goat sure gets a big smile on his face whenever he's around you Leo. Not sure what to make of that. ;D Kelley- Good to see your still kickin'. Any forecasts for next month? Quote

Super User CWB Posted January 29, 2010 Super User Posted January 29, 2010 This would be a timeline for the trip. Heading up. Leo getting pulled over for speeding. Brats the night before. A little celebrating. Ken, Brian and Matt after watching a Cubs/Brewers win. Leo after watching the Sox lose. Ken making breakfast. (not Pancakes) On to the fishing. Bragging rights for the day. Hit the road for home. Stop at Culvers a must. Quote
Triton21 Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Lake still frozen. High for the next 10 days is 40* on 6th & 7th. Rain 6th. Low every night thru the 6th is below freezing. Kelley Quote

I guess I must now share some Falstaff with you. Quote

Super User Gone_Phishin Posted January 30, 2010 Super User Posted January 30, 2010 This is the first time I've seen this thread. Sounds like a great idea. 8-) I wouldn't be able to give a conformation until much closer to the date; it all depends on how my body is doing. I'm recovering from spinal surgery, so unfortunately I have to play it by ear. Quote
