yaaj Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Just wondering, anyone have any suggestions/advice on this body of water? My friend and I have been pre-fishing this for the last 3 weekends for this weekend's B.A.S.S tournament. We're catching 2 pounders LM's pitching and flipping wood cover and using spinnerbaits along the weed edges, but I don't think this is the winning pattern. Before we left last Sunday, we checked out a local tournament weigh in and these guys were bringing in some big bags, like 8 fish 24lbs bags via two guys....and most of them were bringing out smallies! Anyone know a few good spots to target smallies or should continue to target largies? Certain sloughs were up in the 62 degrees last weekend..main river channel about 58-60 degrees. Think they are still in around the current breaks from deep to shallow? Quote
Koop Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 I fished out of pool 7 a few days ago, smallies were killing jigs and wacky senko's. They were all over the chunk rock in 5-8 fow out of the main current. Quote
yaaj Posted April 23, 2010 Author Posted April 23, 2010 Thanks Koop, i'll keep an eye out for this tomorrow. Quote
