Horseshoe Lake near St Louis

Has anyone fished the "Shoe" recently?  Any bass out there?

I believe needemp has in the past.  From what I recall you'd be better off fishing elsewhere.

Haven't been for several years. My dad grew up playing over there. But it's not real good catching.

I made the mistake of putting in there a year ago,90% of the lake is 2ft deep,I have seen some nice crappie pulled out of there from the shore during spring,You might want to try Gillespie lake, I fish a Wendsday night tourny there and always catch nice fish!!
