Brush Hog20 Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 I am fishing Table Rock Lake in the middle of June for the first time and from what I understand its quite different than the off colored small lakes I fish up here in Iowa. As such I am going to bite the bullet and do something I have never done before and hire a guide. Does anyone have a recommendation? As a side note on guide etiquette what is appropriate to tip a guide? If y'all prefer not to post on open forum please IM me. Thanks... Quote
srv1990 Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 I've never hired one of these guys, but here is a list of guides for TRL that I've heard from others are very good: Bill Babler Bill Beck Don House Eric Prey Joe Hreha Good luck! Tom Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted March 1, 2010 Super User Posted March 1, 2010 Tip is just like a restaurant, 10-20%. Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted March 3, 2010 Super User Posted March 3, 2010 You can add Buster Loving Jerry Snyder and Tim Sainato to that list. If I were hiring it would be Babler or Loving. Quote
