L-Train Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Curious Matt, Where are the 309 flats? Is there more grass that I don't know about? I thought those boys were fishing the same area as we were. LOVE THE GRASS. Quote

There is also a huge flat down south to the left of the dam that has lots of humps and grass with deeper water up against it. The real hot spots are humps and pond dams located all across the lake. I can send you a map if you like and then point out some areas that will help you. One thing you need to know. When the water was way down years ago many farmers put up metal t-rods for fence post that have been covered with growth. They do a lot of damage to the gelcoats on boats up in the pockets and out on a lot of points. You can see them in the water as you troll by and they just look like stickups and they are not. Just watch out for them and be careful when you hit the TM and run the bottom of the boat across them. My phone number is 281 224-8853. Let me know, Jack Can you send me a map of some HOT SPOTS to bass fish going 10/19/19 dtcontainersales@gmail.com Quote
