Was at Lake of the Ozarks this weekend for a tourney. The lake is pretty good. They lowered it a little bit, but nothing too major. The lake has a good stain to it, but the water clarity varies on where you go. If you want to catch fish, get out there early or late as the bite is at its best when the sun is just over the horizon. I placed 3rd, caught all my fish on DD22's around brush piles in 8-12 foot of water in between docks. We caught a few flipping docks, but no keepers. If you want to have some real fun, go out at about 7 pm and find a shallow cove where the shad are busting and throw a spinnerbait or buzzbait; we caught a ton of fish doing this.
