Byron V just did a segment on the classic.  He was swimming a bait in his pool and when you stop it, it does a u-turn and faces an approaching bass.  A head first offering right in the face of a charging bass,...WHAM

Anyone know what brands/models do this and could you tell Redline where to buy them so I can try them next time I'm out there?  ;D

seriously though,...makes/models?

The new Tru-Tungsten Tru Life Swimbait does a 180 degree turn when stopped. It is GORGEOUS!!!

There are tough to find right now, but they were selling them at the classic today.  It was the first time I had seen one in a retail store.

The year of the swimbait

I remember seeing a jointed/segment swimbait in the back og magazines.

This swimbait "is banned from all most tournaments because, of its true life like quality."

Wouldn't the bait turning 180º have a negative effect on a bass especially a slow approaching or skittish bass?

Wouldn't it be harder to hook the fish?

Yes, the Tru-Tungsten one does look beautiful.
