Bass XL Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Anyone been fishing Mark Twain latley? How've you been doing? I read that it's up 6' and slooooowly dropping. Quote
captzapp Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I was in alittle 20 boat company tournament. We had six fish weighted in. Fishing was tough. Nobody had a pattern. Tie on the tackle box and throw it. But no rain and it was a great day. Quote
Vulture Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 A buddy and i fished the Bullseye Bait and Tackle tournament out of Spalding on Sunday. We pre-fished Friday night and all day Saturday with some success. Not allot of numbers but several nice keepers. The key was finding them on secondary points in the backs of coves. As long as the point had some depth to it the fish were on it. Anything that was too gradual we zeroed on. I think it was because the water was fluctuating so much. I guess they liked having that easy access to deeper water. Not just any cove but coves that butt up to the river channel. Colorado blade spinner baits, black and blue jigs and Chigger craws did the trick. Everything went well until tournament day when our boat spun a prop early in the tourney. :'( They got a ton of rain last night....its going to be muddy....good luck! Quote
Bass XL Posted June 6, 2008 Author Posted June 6, 2008 Thank you very much Vulture. I'm sorry to hear about you spinning your prop. Quote
