Heading up there this weekend and was wondering if anyone has been up there yet? I know the level is up about 7' above normal and water temps from 46-55. Any help would make the weekend much more enjoyable.

Hey Harshman,

Wish I could be of some help...but yesterday it was a choice between Mark Twain and Pomme de Terre and my wife and I opted for Pomme. Not sure it was a good decision as we didnt get a bite in 6 hours of fishing...lol....I actually think Mark Twain is a little bit warmer and not as muddy as Pomme right now though, so that should help you. We may head to Mark Twain on Sunday ourselves. Good luck.

I have not been there in a while, but want to get back and do some bank fishing.  I would like any input on what you catch.

Today was horrible on Twain.....55 boats in a tourney and only 7 caught fish....only one limit.....I do however think that the lake will turn on this week, main lake near the dam was in the upper 50's and I even found water in the mid 60's in the afternoon. I only managed 3 dinks that were all up on the bank in the newly flooded grass. 1 on a jig, one on a chigger craw and one on a spinner bait......some pattern huh.

I'm sorry to hear that. Give it a tad bit more time, and those fish will be active. I'm so glad that spring is finally warming up! Hopefully I will be making some trips up there soon.
