I've wanted one of those since they first showed up in the catalogs.

Not enough room on the boat for all the gadgets I want.  :'(

IMO, unless you fish in gin-clear water, this device would be almost useless.  Further, I think it is just another hoola-hoop.  This device does absolutely nothing to improve your ability to catch fish.  All it does is show you, under optimal conditions, if there are fish under your boat.  If I'm not grossly mistaken almost any quality depth finder will do the same, and with much better resolution than a camera being used under less than ideal optical conditions.  Personally, I would invest my money elsewhere.

we used one last week in a semi murky water       and im using it now for ice fishing     noone said it catches fish        i did buy it to get a visual    of whats down there

$390 they have come down in price they were up near the $450 to $500 originally. It would be nice to see what's under your boat though. Good Luck with it.
