Black bass are good on dark soft plastic worms, spinner baits, and crank baits around reed beds and near the dam. Striped bass are slow. Redfish are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are excellent on liver, shrimp, and cheese bait near the railroad trestle and 181 Cove. Yellow catfish are slow. Quote
