Mr SwimJig Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Shimano Crucial CRCX70M, would be my suggestion, very sensitive, top notch components and an excellent warranty as well. SJ Quote
westpalmfrogpunk Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 I have a veritas 7 foot heavy its great little rod for the price. but if you looking for a awesome rod in the range of buckets check out a Powell. I would go with a 7 foot mh plus you can not beat the customer service from Powell. Quote
barroncooper Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 If I were you, I'd check into the Falcon Bucoo with micro guides. sensitive, light, great quality, and fairly inexpensive, also heard great things about powells Quote
AbuGarcia-4-Life Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 I would get a Smoke, there light and very sensitive. I just bought one today, also heard great things about Powell. Quote

SJ Thanks alot.Walmart dont know what they are missing. They weren't paying but 300 for two weeks of work so hopefully I can find a full time job that will pay alot more than that. Quote
Georgia Jeff Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 The Boyd Ducket is super light and has great balance. I don't like the foam handles or the dual triggers on the Smoke rods. They were about the same weight. I have not held a Verdict yet but I don't think I would like the extending handle. The veritas felt pretty good but I really like the new micro guides and therfore would once again lean toward the Ducket. Quote
