WIII-60 Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 What colors of hard jerkbait/slashbait do you guys throw in muddy or stained water? I'm loking for specifics i.e. a gold rapala x-rap. Quote
Jake. Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I usually don't throw jerkbaits in muddy water. Clear or stained: LC Pointer 78 Ghost Minnnow Quote
crab Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I use chart/purple in a rouge and the excaliber baits. Quote

WIII-60 Posted February 19, 2008 Author Posted February 19, 2008 Thanks for clarifying that it's not really a muddy water bait. I may have been wasting my time. Just an FYI munkin "tase" is spelled with a "z" as in taze. Tazer is a brand name for a controlled energy device, or what is commonly known as a tazer. Tazer is the name for one kind of device. It's kind of like kleenex to tissue, or band-aid to adhesive bandage, or coke to any kind of cola. Quote

Yes I know what a Tazer X-26 feels like and I do not wish that on anyone that is a law abiding citizen. Allen Quote
WIII-60 Posted February 20, 2008 Author Posted February 20, 2008 I'll bite (and hijack my own post), why'd you get tazed munkin? Drive stun or probes? Ever been hit with real pepper spray? I'd take the five seconds of voltage over the spray any day of the week. I'd even really consider taking a bean bag round over the spray again. Why would a law abiding citizen get tazed? Quote
bugman Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I was at a Gander Mt and they have LC Pointer 100 SP in Table Rock Shad ( White with silver glitter and a purple back) for $9.97. All the other Pointer models were between $14.99 & $19.99. Other size Pointers in Table Rock Shad were full price. I would like to know if anyone likes this color and if you have a reason why this color in this one size is discounted. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted February 20, 2008 Super User Posted February 20, 2008 I bought the same lure on sale for the same price at BPS a year or two ago. I think it will do well, but like the majority of my lures, the only time this one has ever been wet was when I tested it in my pool. I have never actually fished it! : Quote

Leonard Wood I agreed to let the Tazer rep shock me. He used aligator clips on the ends of the probes one attached to my shirt and the other to my belt. I have been shocked with a stun gun, maced, pepper sprayed and tazed but the tazing was the worst for me. Tazer is trying to sell guns to civilians with a 30 second burst aimed at womens self defense. Allen Quote

That way it runs for an extra long time when it gets taken away from, and used against that special someone you bought it for...... Anywho, I just ordered an x-rap sure-set series in the mossyback blue color. Not so crazy about the sure-set hooks, but I really liked this color. Does anyone have it? Quote
tfisherman Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 I use Xcalibur lures and I like Gold/black and sometimes silver/black. That Table Rock color is a good color. It was a killer at one time on Table Rock...Duh and also on a lake I fish as well! Quote

I checked out the Table Rock Shad color and it's chartreuse with a purple back. The lures called Table Rock Shad at Gander Mt. are white with glitter and a purple back. Is this a mistake or did LC change the color? Quote
fishizzle Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 The x-rap slashbait that I live by is blue on top and orange on the bottom and dives 3-5'. Its the 3.25" model Slightly stained water 4' visibility Smallies love it. When you find one stay in that area for a while. Quote
guitarkid Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 "Don't Taze Me Bro" jerkbaits are pretty cool though, i like the rapala orange silver and blue. Quote
