Super User Goose52 Posted December 24, 2014 Super User Posted December 24, 2014 Yes - Scorpion 200 is the JDM version of the Curado I. As John said - on-sale now at Japan Tackle.. Quote
OK Bass Hunter Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Nice looking collection of Shimano's. Please tell me, if you were forced to sell one, and both reels were in perfect condition and assuming they are used for the same purpose, are you selling the Curado 200E or the new Curado? The handles are all on the wrong side. Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted December 24, 2014 Super User Posted December 24, 2014 The handles are all on the wrong side. It was already fixed in an above post... http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/40660-show-off-your-stuff/page-114#entry1663995 1 Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted December 24, 2014 Super User Posted December 24, 2014 I usually always include a photo of a new reel with a fish...............but unfortunately there is not much catching going on here right now. Water is still soft, but surface water temps have been around 41-43 for the last couple weeks and catching is poor. I've had it on the water for about 90 minutes over the last couple days. SOLID reel - it feels like you are holding a solid block of aluminum. Glass-smooth on the retrieve. A nifty reel indeed. It should work, reel in fish.........................as soon as I can find some fish............................ OK - took a couple days but the Ryoga 1016H has scored... NOW, I can give the reel the highest rating - seems to work, reels in fish................... 1 Quote
Super User *Hootie Posted December 25, 2014 Super User Posted December 25, 2014 I have handled the new Curado at DSG. I do like the way it palms better than the 1500. If I can scrounge up enough money before the end of December, I might get the 6.3:1 from Japan Tackle while it's on sale. Get it John, get it, get it, get it. Hootie Quote
John G Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Get it John, get it, get it, get it. Hootie It will either be the new Scorpion or another XT1000. 1 Quote

Kidflex Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 My name is Brian and I too have an addiction like all of you! I'm also new to the forum. Here's my finally downsized bass collection of reels. No need to name the reels, everyone probably knows what each are. I will say I'm a hardcore shimano and daiwa fan but my quantums get the most love from me. Tour mg is my new favorite! Also for anyone who hasn't tried out a hammer rod, do yourself a favor and get one. Lighter and more sensitive than my glx rods. These will be replacing all my rods soon. 6 Quote
Super User rippin-lips Posted January 2, 2015 Super User Posted January 2, 2015 Downsized huh! 3 Quote

Lots of nice gear - check. Line on (most of the reels) - check. Some round reels included - check. BUT - labels and plastic wrap on the rod grips - BAD Brian, BAD. Peel off the labels, remove the plastic wrap, mount the reels, and get everything slimed up pronto! 1 Quote
Super User HoosierHawgs Posted January 2, 2015 Super User Posted January 2, 2015 It's winter here and the reels are going up so I figured I'd upload some pics! http://imgur.com/7gvi1yL Not quite as impressive as some, but not quite finished yet! There are some Lew's, Quantum, Daiwa, Shimano, and Abu all in the mix, but the Lew's are by far my favorite. Quote
