Curado DC with a few subtle changes.

How do you like it so far ? Was it worth it I canceled my order. You think you’ll be keeping this one?

Nice reel.  Where did you get those reel stands and what brand are they?  I need a few.  Thanks!

Where did you order from to get a lefty so soon?  Have you fished it yet?  Cool handle.

I ordered through Tackle Trap in AL. It’s not on my possession yet. That’s the Avail handle.

It shipped out today. I was waiting for some parts for it from Shimano. This was a finished pic after he installed them. If I don’t then I’ll sell it ha.

Not sure of the brand. They’re are just plastic ones from overseas. I have a handful that I got on eBay.

What spool tension knob is on the reel?  It looks like the stock knob but without the green.  I might pick one of these up down the road and un-green it.

The green is slick!

Steezy,

You can pick up the pliers & kniife combo through Abel. The pliers I have are the larger #4's.  They now have a cool bottle cap remover as well, not offered 7 years ago when I bought this set up.

http://www.abelreels.com/pages/pliers.htm

They offer different custom finishes as well as a nice leather sheath to carry on your belt. This black sheath was made for me by Arne, the gentleman that makes the sheaths for Abel.

Steez Blitz and Steez 103 in the back, the front set up is a JDM Steez Wylie paired with a 103. This rod is 96% fiberglass. Too bad they never released it here in the states, it's an awesome rod!

@Redlinerobert we sadly can't see them anymore :( would love to see custom reels as they are not that common around here !

I noticed LHR and RHR baitcasters. Are you using lefties for some technique like flippin/pitching ? Also, what is the spincast used for ? After using one lately, I wondered if I would not add a good ol' spincast to my arsenal for cranks ? I guess a spincast should fit any casting rod ?

Welcome to BR. What you quoted was 10 years old. That’s why the pic links aren’t working.

I just picked up this locally the other day. I dressed it up a bit with some spare parts I had around.

It's for sale haha. You can just buy the reel and it’s already done for you.

Where did this handle come from? Sweet!

Its from a company called "Basszone" and I ordered it from Thailand on ebay. Fit and finish is just as good as the much more expensive Daiwa/RCS carbon handles, though you'll need a couple extra shims to get the wiggle out of the knobs if you don't use the ones that come on it

Finally I'm whole again, after been searching for this Crucial Dropshot rod to replace the one I broke. I hope I like it as much as my old rod (gen 2 vs gen1) despite it is being shorter and a little bit softer tip but same 1/8-3/8oz lure weight.
