Its like a crazy ex that you just keep calling back. Buy, fish, sell, then regret selling. I had 2x of the FA's that just didn't feel "right" I am hoping the FB is different but time will tell. For now its sitting on my light weight jig set up (Cajun Custom Rods Trigger). Makes for a handy mirror, too. 1 Quote

Scrapiron Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 New to me, haven't put either on the water, yet. The Exsense replaces a Stradic Ci4+ FB (which holds it's own). G.Loomis NRX 852s and Shimano Exsense Ci4+ C3000HGM 9 Quote

Build quality is great. Throwing my sv105 on it, which I've been tinkering with the last few months since I've had it. Was sitting on a 7'0" m Carbonlite rod, which I really enjoyed. I know I'm going to like this new combo a lot. Looks great! 1 1 Quote
PatrickKnight Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 When your new Ci4 has a bad bearing but the forum pushes you in a different direction. Its not as free spinning as a Stradic (the sealing is much better at the handle and main shaft on this one) but when you turn the handle you can feel everything just matches up better. 4 Quote

Loomis13 Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 Figured I have been around here long enough I might as well show you what Im working with! Only thing missing is a Curado K I pick up from work on Tuesday! Mostly spinning stuff as Im a walleye/crappie guy first as we tend to fish out of my dads boat and he doesn't get too much kick out of the bass fishing. But I love talking equipment and learning so I ended up on bassresource! 3 Quote
