Maico1 Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Wow, you are either single, or have a VERY understanding wife. Nice collection. You should see her foot ware collection......you know what I mean. 1 Quote
TiNuts Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 This is my stepson's and my collection. The top is a Revo3 SX that is just got from my wife as a gift. It's on a 7' med fast carbonlite rod. 2nd rod is a bass pro carbon black reel on a 7' MH rod. Then an old school Abu mag plus reel (date code says '89) on some 5'6" "crankin stick" that I'm assuming is from the same time. Then a cheap Walmart Shakespeare spinning rig that I use for car fishing. My sons cat pole. Then a bill dance crappie rod/reel. The old Abu reel I got from my father in law. Said he bought it new, tried to cast it twice, and it's been in his closet ever since. Quote

Maico1 Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Decided to give the new GLX Cranking Sticks a try......Now just have to decide which round reel will get the mount.... 1 Quote
0119 Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 GLX and they didnt even bother to wrap the cork in plastic? Even put the sticker right on the cork....... Quote
LuckyHandsINC. Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 GLX and they didnt even bother to wrap the cork in plastic? Even put the sticker right on the cork....... Really not a big deal. They're stored in a plastic bag and the sticker peels off very easily and cleanly. Has the loomis hate really come this far? Quote
Maico1 Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 GLX and they didnt even bother to wrap the cork in plastic? Even put the sticker right on the cork....... The sticker on the cork has never been a problem for me...Just so you know they are all like that, does not matter if it is GLX, NRX, IMX etc. etc.etc.... Quote
0119 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Yes my hate for all things Shimano has gone that far.... 2 Quote
