Was respooling the other day and snapped this pic too :)

Also picked up a Tatula HLC 8.1 for my frog rod, which is a Zillion 7'4" H.  Will be one of my few non Shimano/Megabass combos.

Nice collection!  You'll have to report back on that HLC.  I started a thread a little while ago asking about it but didn't hear much feedback.  I was also looking at it for a potential frog reel replacement.

Will be a while before I'm slingin' frogs...But it passes the eye test for sure.  Once we hit June I'm expecting our tournament schedule to be very frog friendly for 4 straight events so it'll get a workout ;).

Final little pieces showed up today for my pair of SV 103's. Gunmetal Hedgehog Studios frame screws and Ray's cast control knobs that I'll be having anodized black to match the rest of the parts I put on them. Calling these ones finished.

There was a sale?  Dang, I just got a Perfect Pitch.

If anybody is on the fence about an XX, get off of it and buy the rod.  They are AMAZING.

They just had a few models on sale.  Still have a tour versatile for $222.

You should be able to order the gear set from Tackle Trap. As for the handles I always hold onto them in case I sell the reels. Order a tatula handle assembly from Tackle Trap for $25. It's the same as what comes on the SV103.

You might have a tackle addition problem when you're on first name basis with the Daiwa parts lady...

Not really the thread for it, but I know someone in here will know.

I am looking for a longer (100-120mm ballpark) handle for a Alphas 150H.  I wanna see if I like it with a longer one and as the reel is already a pig, I don't super care about weight.  What's my cheapest option?  Same question, but for fat-flat cork knobs, like on the (26/2) Fishing reels?

Quality doesn't really matter as I just want to see if I like the longer handle and if I do, I know there are a few places happy to take my $150 and sell me one.

I was moving some reels around the other night and Rippin's "Twins" gave me an idea, but I wanna test some stuff before I whip the credit card out.

Replacing an old President that's damaged with this beauty. After using a Stradic FK last season (incredible reel), the Shimano reels just feel "right" to me. I still like my presidents, but there's something about the Shimano ergonomics. It's funny when I switch between the two brand a lot, because they have such different bodies that I end up dropping the line.

Daiwa Procyon EX 2500SH

Paired with Fenwick Aetos 6'6" M/F

Not exactly sure what line is gonna end up on this yet..

Liking the feel of the reel though, and the Aetos is gorgeous, slight line guide and twist issue aside
