KP Duty Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Received my order from Japan lure shop Tuesday. They sent me a Steez H instead of the SH, but it has nestled into my 843 and I've decided to keep it. More accurately, I was unable tp send it back . The steez feels awesome... as billed. The real surprise is the zillion. I had a couple of the og zillions years ago, but this new deal here is significantly more refined and lighter. Can't wait to get them on the water. 7 Quote

stk Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Added this guy to the club. Going to be using it for Trigs and small jigs. I have been really happy with my kistler KLX (crank rip and twitch). Their sale on FB made it a no brainer. I am going to be putting this MGL on a Kistler Magnesium 2 rod (7ft Heavy-MH XFast). 9 Quote
Super User rippin-lips Posted June 15, 2016 Super User Posted June 15, 2016 I guess it still counts even if I'm not keeping any of them. Newer Steez SV reels with 2nd gen Zillion rods. Buy em up folks. 7 Quote

I like what I have felt of it so far. I had a last generation ci4+ and sold it because it did not feel as solid as my FK...it felt hollow to me for lack of a better term. This one feels more like the FK and is even lighter than the outgoing ci4+. 1 Quote

I am in the market for a new spinning reel and have been looking at the new stradic. Quote

Super User Jar11591 Posted June 24, 2016 Super User Posted June 24, 2016 New addition to the roster. Pflueger Supreme XT. I love Pflueger spinning reels so I'm seeing how I like their casting reels. As soon as I get a rod to pair her with, she'll be inserted into the starting lineup. 5 Quote

Logan S Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 The ALX Brawler I picked up recently is an awesome rod...It's a 7'6" XH/F that's lightweight and balanced. Very impressed with this rod, especially in the $200 price range. My last tournament (where this fish was caught ) and my next one are on tidal water so it'll be dedicated to flipping...But the next two after that on lakes so it'll get a reel swap for some flouro and a 3/4oz jig for deep water fishing. Don't see ALX mentioned a lot on here so I figured I'd toss it out there . 3 Quote

Super User kickerfish1 Posted June 28, 2016 Super User Posted June 28, 2016 Just receive the rod today after a fairly long wait. Custom Curado 50e and a MHX Spin jig 842 but trimmed to 6'10. Dedicated jerkbait and small topwater outfit. Reel seat was sourced from Matagi in what is called vintage green which is sort of mettalic green marble color. Perfect match for the reel! Fuji alconite guides with green and gold trim work. Full cork handle and gold winding checks. 13 Quote
