Nothing fancy... Ss 663

image_zpsnhboplj5.jpeg

however due to some confusion on the boca order and me not paying attention I do have 6 lightning abec 5s in this. 2 each handle 2 level wind.

Making this my dedicated Sammy/Fluke Rod

I like bocas but man their site can be confusing.  That type r is super solid.  Kind of wish I kept it instead of selling it.  I replaced it with a exsence DC for my frog reel.

I've got the fury 795 as well, I like the rod but I'm not sure what to expect when I'm throwing 3oz lures.  I feel like it casts ok, maybe I just need to get used to it.  I'm interested in what you think about that rod.  Also, nice pick up on the tatula HD.

I'll let you know. This combo was more of a novelty. As state tourneys can't throw the a rig. Only time I may use it is in club tourneys, get a limit then hunt for a kicker with a swimbait. Just getting my feet wet with swimbaits myself.  Days I go fun fishing I'll be throwing it mostly.

While I'm at it ... :)

My first DC reel ever on my first G. Loomis rod. The Exsence DC is definitely heavy, but it feels like a tank. I'm still debating whether I keep it or sell it to get a Met DC instead. I think it would work great in my next trip to Argentina

Daiwa Ardito, It seemed like the best choice for me, my budget was ~$150 and 3 pieces or more, with a case, for travelling

Now on its new permanent home. Orochi XX Perfect Pitch

Balance is very good for a rod of its power rating.

Just once so far. Weather decided to get cold again. Hopefully the report doesn't change and I'll be out next weekend.

Pitching jigs and other plastics with 1/2oz weight. Open water football jigs and apparently it makes a great frog rod so those too

I've had mine out a few times so far.  It's a phenomenal reel.

The Met DC is gonna be a little heavy also. I was undecided also and just ordered the standard Mets. Ordered 5 to hold me over until the 16 Met LH comes out. But my question is where did you get the green NRX? Looks like u got the MH, what length did u get it in? Mine should all be here within this coming wk I can't wait.
