travis23 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 I sold my LTD and the next day grabbed this one after i regretted putting the LTD up for sale. Hate the knobs, but that's an easy fix! Oh and got a heck of a deal on it too!! 10 Quote
Logan S Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Shimano on a Daiwa...Because I can I've been using a Core 100 on my dock skipping rod for a while (and a Curado 100B prior) but wanted to try something a little different so I treated myself to this Scorpion DC. Figured I should pick one up before they are gone, they won't be around forever...Right? -Shimano Scorpion DC 6.3 -Gen1 Daiwa Zillion, 6'9" MH/XF 5 Quote

5fishlimit Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Put the Daiwa PXL-R on my new LTB 68MXF. I added blue dress up parts from Hedgehog Studios. And, as shown in a previous post, my new dropshot setup. Love this combo so much! 8 Quote

Super User deep Posted October 30, 2015 Super User Posted October 30, 2015 Finally finished up a few near identical twins! How do you like the Helium3 vs the NRX? Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted October 30, 2015 Super User Posted October 30, 2015 Well, given the price difference and what I paid for each they are both great buys. The NRX is a much better rod in my opinion and has greater feel. The H3 is a good buy when they are on sale for around $200. My biggest gripe is that the raw or unfinished blanks on the H3 are more prone to scratches even when used gently. 1 Quote

TxHawgs Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 I'm happy cause the conquest is finally here. I'm not happy cause it was hit by custom and stuck there for two weeks. I'm still happy cause when I picked it up today they didn't charge me anything even I saw the red custom tape on the box. Still waiting for the livre handle nut. Carbon handle just doesn't look right on conquest. That's the Livre handle correct? I've never seen it in that color only the gunmetal and gold blue or red which I hate. That looks like all gunmetal, anyone know where I can find one in this color? Quote

BasskingKeith Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Some things I've been stocking here in El Paso, for home (Florida). Some of my topwater selection, which are my favorite baits, and an overview of pretty much everything I got here. I designated a drawer full of stuff. Hope someone enjoyed the pics. Lol. 2 Quote
5fishlimit Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Just got a MH/F Volkey, and added my Fuego to it. Fished with it right after work during the last 30 minutes of sunlight that remained. It's the 2 piece version that I picked up in the flea market from pondasassin. The finish on these rods is really nice! I can understand all the buzz about them as of late here with many of the members! 4 Quote
Super User rippin-lips Posted November 5, 2015 Super User Posted November 5, 2015 Good looking combo. The build quality is nice. You got a steal on that one also. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. I had the 7' mh/f blc model for a minute. I had to sell it because it I didn't like it. Definitely a decent $150 rod. Quote
Tim S. Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 ......I had the 7' mh/f blc model for a minute........ And I have it now Quote

Never understood why or how they didn't get more popular... I have the 7-footer with a Zillion reel for my jig duty but your combo is pretty fine-lookin' too 1 Quote
