tnbassfisher Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Back then they were pretty new. I collected all those Daiwas in just a few months. They replaced a bevy of Revos, EXTs, and other Abus I sold here on this site. I got rid of some All Star rods and replaced them with Fenwicks. Looks like a man who truly takes care of his gear! Great collection. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted December 16, 2009 Super User Posted December 16, 2009 Rowland, what is with the HMG handles? They look weird for some reason. Do they all look like that or did you do something to them? Quote
Super User Micro Posted December 17, 2009 Super User Posted December 17, 2009 Looks like a man who truly takes care of his gear! Great collection. They don't look that new anymore. But cleaning them after fishing, and some lemon Pledge on the rod and handles does keep them nice looking and makes the handles easy to get clean. Rowland, what is with the HMG handles? They look weird for some reason. Do they all look like that or did you do something to them? Are you talking about the three in the seperate picture? If so, those are the new HMGs that came out this year. They are a matrix mix of rubber and cork. I like those handles very much. They have the soft feeling of cork but are a bit grippier. I think they do add a bit of weight, though. Quote
Fat-G Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Here's some of my baitcasters. I've added some more. One day, I'll lay my spinning rigs out for photos. Oh. My. God. Quote
flippin and pitchin Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 I CAN'T BELEIVE I TOOK THE TIME TO SCROLL THROUGH THIS THREAD ! They make a new patch for this addiction guys. Gum is on the way. I hope you all have read your home owner's insurance policies. Many policies only cover sporting goods equipment up to $500.00 0r $1000.00 and require a binder for property beyond that. At least if you have a fire you can show the adjuster this thread to prove you had it. Hey Road Warrior, I still have my two 5'6" glass pistol grip Lews Speed sticks. My fishing partner of 32 years and I have a nostalgia day once a year. We use an original Big O, an Okie Bug spinnerbait and Mann's jelly worms. If I only had my 1972 Terry Basser boat back. No I never did own a baby blue short sleeve jumpsuit, just the hover hat. ;D ;D ;D 1 Quote
Ineedanewscreenname20170204 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Nice pics guys! My collection is meager by comparison but it work fine for me - can't fit more on my 16' bass boat's deck anyway... Am in the market for another citica 200 E5... Quote

Fat-G Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Time to bring this back! I'm sure a lot of you have added stuff, sold stuff, or just completely given your arsenal a makeover. When my Citica gets back from supertuning I'll post a pic. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted February 4, 2011 Super User Posted February 4, 2011 you should have waited 2 days, it would have been a year on the dot. Quote

Super User Jimzee Posted February 4, 2011 Super User Posted February 4, 2011 Pretty hard to beat the looks of the Core/Cumara combo. That CI4 is probably the best looking spinning reel on the market. Nice! Quote
The Rooster Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 WOW, those Core/Cumara pics are SHARP!!! I'm definitely gonna post some new pics. Like Fat-G said, I've gotten new gear since then. My stuff was posted at the bottom of page 1 when this thread was new. Since then I've gotten a Citica E, a Curado E7, and a Symetre, so I'm gonna do some more pics. ;D Man, that Curado just above me is really LOADED with line!! ;D Quote

Super User BASSclary Posted February 5, 2011 Super User Posted February 5, 2011 I want a couple of those Carbonlite handles. Have you called BPS or visited their parts center? I believe they're relatively cheap iirc. Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted February 5, 2011 Super User Posted February 5, 2011 I want a couple of those Carbonlite handles. Have you called BPS or visited their parts center? I believe they're relatively cheap iirc. As of yesterday, Outdoor World Rod & Reel Repair had NO Carbonlite handles in stock. EDIT - OWR&RR is the BPS parts center... Quote

I'll probably have to go to the Richmond BPS. I just want one for my Citica, since I fell and bent the stock handle. Plus it would look cool. Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted February 5, 2011 Super User Posted February 5, 2011 I'd be very surprised if that handle from a Carbonlite fit the Citica. I can all but guarantee that it wont. Quote
philsoreel Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 A few of my favorites....canned the reel grips though. Not as sensitive. Ohhhhhhh yessir. Those are beautiful. What model Cumaras are they?
