I think Im becoming more of a tackle junkie then a fisherman. So I figured we have a section to show off our Recent catches, why not show off our prized tackle.

my daiwa pixy hasnt arrived from japan yet or I would post a pic. probably gonna be havin about half a dozen rods custom built but wont be for another month or two. For now I will just enjoy rod/reel porn. I also see myself becoming more of a tackle/gear junkie then a fisherman

Understood. But the original intent of the post in no way implied that my equipment made me any better than anyone. I just wanted a thread to show off your setups. I enjoy looking at other peoples tackle. Especially those that customize or purchase hard to find Japanese tackle. Like I said I am becoming more of a tackle Junkie. So for me to check out other peoples gear gives me my fix. Get my drift?

Oh yea I got your drift 100%. I just remember seeing guys rigs and such when I first started out and thinking WOW, thats awesome and getting intimidated. I just through it out there to think about that it is not so much the gear that catches the fish. Trust me, I could look at Redline and Jimzee's custom stuff all day long and drool. And I liked the look of the black on black so much I teamed my Cumara's up with black Revos.  ;D

I'm 100% guilty of it too.

I'll be happy enough when I get one of the new Pflueger Patriarch XT's.

Then even happier when I figure out which reel has 7.1 gears that will swap into the XT.

I'm all about value. Some of you guys are out of your mind.

7' Pflueger Tim Horton Crankbait rod W/BPS David Fritts crankin' reel

6'10 Loomis SHR 821S w/Pflueger Supreme

6'6 Rogue MH spin/jig rod with older Abu 802 spinning reel

7'6 BPS Johnny Morris Elite, with BPS Extreme.

The Loomis Mossyback BCR853 should be here tomorrow according to UPS.

The Elite is a KILLER rod, but I'm thinking about selling it to get a BCR 855 Mossyback.

I want to put the new Partriarch XT's on the 853 and 855 if I get it.

One of my favorite reels are the Diawa TDS. But they are discontinued and I don't have ANY so I never bothered to pick any up. This reel, though is KILLER.

Note that isn't my reel, but still my favorite.

Loosen up its a joke.  I got a good laugh out of it.  I'd post up mine but I don't have a digital camera with me at college.  However last week I found two Chronarch 50 MG's new for about $100 each so I'm feeling pretty good about that deal

I'm not sure about posting gear pics, I got beat to death just listing gear in a signature line.

As far as the cold, my fingers are still frozen from this morning, 33 degrees, wind chill was 28.  I caught a small one on a rat-L-trap and a decent 2# on a black craw jig in 1' of water.  I could'nt believe how much that fish was playing and splashing in the shallows in that those cold temps.

You are better than me.  I went out last sunday to test my new reel.  I could only take about 15 minutes of the cold north wind, but I was able to catch a lil 1# in that time.

go ahead and post some  pictures steezy you have some nice equipment ,you work hard for what you have like the rest of us .it was around 36 today here in Illinois, i couldn't talk myself into going out fishing either.
