Had to see what the fuss was on the Chronarch D series. I must say, it lives up to the hype and then some.

Does that Met handle clear the drag star or did you have to bend something? The Chronarch D series are much sought after.  Nice reel.

What's that on our doorstep?  Is that an SV?  Why, yes.  Yes it is.  Bond.  James Bond.

Finally, for now, The Expendables, Daiwa PMF100 on a Daiwa MHF rod, Daiwa PL100 on a Daiwa MF rod and a Shimano Bantom BX100 on a Lew's MHF American Hero rod:

What is not being shown are The Ambassadors (ABU vintage) as they are not along on this trip.

Classic 80s reels!  The PL100 might actually be earlier and closer to the SM2A that Bill Dance used to use!  I just got a PMA15S for $10 at a flea market.  I cleaned it up, oiled and greased it and it is beautiful!  They are great reels you have there.  What type of Daiwa rods are they on?

Big Bass, I bought them new in or around 1982 in a tackle shop way west down Westheimer in Houston, I needed something that would throw 1/4 ounce lures better than my ABU 5500C reels could then. The rods are two piece outfits but they are graphite at least (and much newer), not bad rods. I just refurbished the the silver one. Both are pretty mint as I take care of my stuff. The little Daiwas will bomb the light stuff and have been and are excellent little reels. Their only downside is the then high speed 5 gear ratios are a little slow for my current preference. They see a lot of kayak duty, thus The Expendables.

I have two little pistol grip Daiwa rods I bought at the same time, same place, one is only 4.5 feet long and the other is 5.5 feet. I never did like pistol grips but the tiny rods have a use which apparently is no longer appreciated today.

I ran into the mailman on my out of the apartment. Got 2 of my newest toys today. I was not planning on pairing the two together but they look like they were designed for each other.

New ultralight rod. Fit and finish are flawless and the sensitivity is incredible. Most of the UL rods I'm used to are like limp noodles. This rod has a crisp feel and a fast action. Also extremely light weighing in at 2oz. Still waiting on the companion reel. Can't wait to fish with it.

The urge to buy a reel named after a Wu Tang lyric became overpowering and I figured I would pick up the one I thought was the coolest looking.

I have been using Alphas SV/loomis CR723 IMX as my all-around rod, but have wanted to move it over to topwater/jerkbaits and replace it with a slightly longer rod.  I got the Steez from a guy on TT, it was in great condition for the price and now I guess I need to figure out what rod I want to pair it with.

The whole combo weighs less than my Stradic 2500. Balance point is exactly on the locking nut.

I have one of these reels as well!  Absolutely stunning!  I got mine from TW during the Memorial Day sale back in the spring.

I have a Luvias as well...(mine is a 3012H) and I absolutely love the reel.  I have mine on a Legend Xtreme spinning rod and have been putting it to good use.  They are amazing reels and best wishes with your new setup!  I ended up getting my reel from a place in AL that had it for $199 shipped at the time with a free Daiwa hat.  Since then, the price of the reels on the same site has gone up.

That looks awesome!  I never thought they would match up like color-wise that but they look great.  Best wishes with the new setup.

Finally received my modified driveshaft back and got it installed in the Itö 103. Allows the use of a 10mm Steez bolt instead of a nut. Reason - Itö's are known to strip out aluminum nuts sometimes. This one was no different.

Do you have the specs to modify the drive shafts or did you send it out?  I have some alphas that i would like to do this on!!!
