Tackle Supply Depot had some for $219 but I'm not sure what's left of them. The 103 was kind of an unknown gem but now that the word got around and the sales happened they quickly started disappearing.

Yea, I am regretting not picking one up.  I want a heavy-ish reel with an SV spool for a 7'5" frog rod, an Alphas 150H at 8.11oz is too heavy (and too big for me to plam) and a Zillion SV feels too light at like 6.8oz.

That's one of those things were you need to try the reel out on it and see for yourself. You might be surprised.

I caught a 20+ lb. carp yesterday. The Kastking worked fine. Might even better, now that it has some Euro-trash-fish mojo, lol.

That one is the DSR. My EMTF has a Steez on it pictured above.

I'm normally not a big fan of painted reels but that looks pretty badass. :gunfight9:

Painted reel?  All I see are crappy off-center pics of a drag star, handle and spool.  ?

While the 103 is a great reel I'm not sure I'd pair it with a Leviathan.  The Ito is tuned for the finesse end of things, whereas the Leviathan is a swimbait/inshore type rod.  With how finicky those 103s can be, I can only imagine the bird's nest that they could whip up with a hudd on the line.

Id lean more towards a 300 sized reel like a tranx, Calcutta/conquest, curado etc.  That way you get the line capacity you'll need to throw big baits on big lines and have the drag to back it up.

Just my .02 ?

Really like the looks of the Tatula Elite rods, but I'm going to wait to see if people have good feedback. Don't want to be hooked just by looks.

I clicked on this thread immediately after I saw @LuckyHandsINC. was the most recent poster. I love your arsenal and congrats on the newest addition!

Haha thanks man. Just for the kind words I'll post something else.

Thought it was time to get in to the BFS game. Got these in January I believe. Don't really know why I haven't posted them. Megabass X7 Criffhanger and Megabass Kirisame both paired with Aldebaran BFS.  The Kirisame is really cool. The blank is a solid piece of graphite, very unique.

I always wondered what those Kirisames were like.  Solid graphite seems so strange to me but I'm sure MB played it well.  Please keep us posted!

I received this beaut earlier today. It was smaller than I expected, as you can see it next to my Steez. Now to find a rod to match :)

That conquest is awesome. Really wanted one but righties were a long way away at the time I purchased by BFS reels. Had to double up on the Aldebaran's instead. Not exactly a problem but would have been nice to have the conquest.

What happed pen to the Steez? Looks like it took a beating. Man it hurts seeing that.
