Saw at them at the school tour and knew I needed a frog, jig and some small plastics. These were the only rigs I brought with me. I've been checking it out online a lot. Seems like an awesome reel even compared to my Stradic. I like how the Ultegra has a lot of the same higher end tech in it and durable sealed body. Quote

I will need to put some work in on the water with it before I can actually make a statement about it but from my initial thoughts I would consider it a budget CI4+. I initially wanted to get another Stradic fk but saw this on the fishusa website and decided to take a chance. Feels balanced in hand which is nice and weight wise it's right inbetween the fk and CI4+. Depending on what the local tackle shop has in stock I am probably going to run out and grab a rod to mount this on and take it over to the pond when it stops snowing. Maybe wake up a couple bass to see what the reel is made of. 1 Quote
