Logan S Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Recently scored what I think was an amazing deal on an unused MB Black Jungle - Deep Cranking and Slow Rolling (F5-71XBJ). Matches up great with my D5 and is an impressive rod, as you'd expect from MB . Wasn't really planning on picking up a cranking rod, but some deals are too good to pass up! 10 Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted October 29, 2016 Super User Posted October 29, 2016 I'm not one to pass up a deal, especially when it comes to MB. Found a never used Megabass Mephisto SB, Destruction, and US Trail F4 Tomahawk. Oh and a Daiwa Ryoga Shrapnel. 4 Quote

I think I know that fella that sold it. PVC tube, black electrical tape on the butt caps, bubble wrap and tape on the rod itself plus taped to the tube to prevent sliding. Yea, that dude is top notch and your outfit looks incredible! 4 Quote

Super User Redlinerobert Posted November 9, 2016 Super User Posted November 9, 2016 Easily the most beautiful reel I now own. Will look even better once it's used and marred up a bit. Time to start a custom rod build to pair with this beauty. I hope to have it completed by the spring time. Megabass Monoblock Racing Viola. Only 24 lefties and 24 righties ever made. Sold out instantly. They're trading hands at crazy prices. I was fortunate to be at the right place at the right time to buy this for not much more than what they originally sold for. I've seen them sell in this condition for $4,000 plus. 11 Quote

Putting a carbon handle on it and a tune from Ian. 4 Quote

A-Jay Yes, I was just using it for test casting in my backyard :D. It's one of the lures that's less likely to get hung up. 2 Quote
